FAQ ° How can I transfer the rent or deposit from abroad?
You can transfer your payment directly the Belgian bank account from your bank account abroad.
1. If you have a European bank account
Choose a SEPA bank transfer in euros (EUR). You will generally only need the beneficiary’s name and IBAN. SEPA transfers in euros within the SEPA area are usually charged at the same rate as domestic transfers
2. If you are transferring from outside the SEPA area
Choose an international bank transfer (SWIFT) in euros. Your bank may ask for the following details:
- Beneficiary’s name
- IBAN (Belgian bank account number)
- BIC/SWIFT code
- Beneficiary’s bank name and address, if required
Please check the transfer fees and exchange rate with your bank before confirming the payment. Additional bank charges may apply. and are always at the expense of the tenant.
3. What should I write in the payment reference?
Always include your studio number and tenant full name, so we can identify your payment correctly.
Example: ST0201 – John Smith – Rent 11/2026
4. When should I make the transfer?
Please allow sufficient time for international payments to arrive. Your booking is only confirmed once the rental agreement has been signed and the required initial payment has been received, in accordance with the rental arrangements.
To speed up or ease the adminsitartive confirmation, send the proof of transfer by email.
5. Can my parents pay on my behalf?
Yes. Your parents can transfer the rent or deposit directly to our bank account. Please ensure that the payment reference includes your studio number and your full name, not just the name of the person making the transfer.
Important: Please use the bank details provided in your rental agreement or payment instructions. Always double-check the beneficiary and account number before sending money. Costs resultong from refused transfers by providing teh worng bank information are at the tenants expense.
