Quick Fix for Sprayer Drip – Please Try This First

Dripping Shower Hose or Sprayer? Easy Fix – No Need to Worry!

Some tenants have reported a dripping handheld shower or hose, or are concerned about possible water loss. Great that you’re attentive – but the good news is that this is usually a small and simple fix.

🔧 What’s causing it?
In most cases, the shower hose has slightly loosened from the sprayer head due to turning during use. This can cause a few drops of water to come out after use.

✅ What can you do?
Simply tighten the hose manually at the sprayer connection – no tools needed. Just twist the connector slightly to one side to make sure it’s firmly secured again. You can see how it’s done around 2:27 in this short video: [insert link].

💧 Is this wasting water?
No. The water supply is controlled by the main water valve (tap). The hose/sprayer connection does not cause water to flow when the valve is closed. What you’re seeing is most likely just leftover water in the hose or sprayer dripping out after use.

📌 Still unsure? Try the pot test!
Place the sprayer in a pot and check how much water collects over 24 hours. If it continues dripping noticeably, the water valve might not be fully closed – just make sure to close it firmly after use. If the water keeps accumulating, it will be time to inform your landlord.
