HOUSERULES – How to use-maintain the oven
Maintaining your rental property, including shared parts, makes part of your rental agreement and general official regulation.
Therefore these using instructions are mandatory.
- Never leave devices creating heat unattended
- Turn ON and after each use : ALWAYS Turn OFF!!!
- PREHEAT: you stay near the oven and wait until it is ready to put your foods, so not to waste energy
- This means you do not leave cooking foods unattended: you use a TIMER to know when your food is ready or you stay close to the device
- ALWAYS remains 1 metal plate in the bottom, so to protect the oven bottom from dripping foods
- Before use ALWAYS you put one Baking or Aluminium paper in this plate so to avoid dripping foods will cook into the plate and it will ease you cleaning the plate immediately after use
- When the paper is dirty, the last one not only removes but also replaces it
- AFTER EACH use, the user cleans the cooking plate
- After each use, also clean the inside of the oven and the front panel window
- if you touched the front side with greasy hands, you clean it
- When baking greasy products or products that bubble and spatter, you ALWAYS use a COVER : oven allowed material OR aluminium or baking foil paper so to avoid excessive spatter on the walls inside the oven
- CLEANING takes place after EACH use without exception
A new oven was installed in December, as the previous one needed replacement after hardly 3 years! Please know that an electronical kitchen device is subject to decent and regular maintanance.
In case it is not treated/maintained correctly and damage or failure is caused within unreasonable short period: The official regulation states that : all people with access to the shared parts = kitchen are the same responsible in equal parts in case there is a problem or damage due to faulty use or lack of maintenance. This applies that everybody will share in the cost that arise for reparations, replacements, or maintenance. This also includes the cost for supplementary maintenance if it becomes necessary. All people are also together in the same amount responsible for reporting damage or problems, even if they have not caused it themselves.
If the oven this time becomes unusable because it is not taken care of in a normal and regular way, it will not be replaced again.
