Is there a Laundry service in the building?

Unfortunatley we do no longer provide an in-house laundry service… 🙁

Past experience shows this is too costly and created many issues :

• Normal washing machines are not suitable for intensive use by as many tenants.
• We can only apply consumer tariffs for water and energy, which makes it very expensive as this amounts of tenants using laundry cause us to end up in higher consumption categories. (e.g. water cost alone was €20,000 in one year)
• Incorrect use by tenants has lead to high maintenance and repair costs, resulting in difficult situations where some tenants turn out to pay also for damage they didn’t cause. this makes nor the tenants nor us happy.
• Laundry rooms often get misused for garbage disposal and storage.
• Drying laundry inside the studios can cause humidity and mold problems.

Since Leuven is a true student city, you will find plenty of professional laundromats nearby, where you can wash and dry your clothes at normal prices.
