Houserules – Maintenance – Official CITY Garbage regulation
As everywhere in Belgium and Europe, in Leuven also, waste needs to be sorted.
For the sorting of waste in Leuven there are several rules, please check them and follow them.
Anyone who does not follow these rules is liable to be prosecuted for “dumping waste ”.
Garbage Segregation

Rubbish bags should only be put outside:
- on the correct day : see calendar
- in the correct place: Stored in front of the building but in such a way that it is not blocking entrance to garage or main entrance
- in the correct way: seggregated correctly in the official waste bags.
Make sure you use the right type of bag for the different sorts of rubbish.

There is a glass container in the corner of Sint-Jacobsplein opposite the building.
